| Tec Experience Prerequisites: |
- Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- Be 18 years of age.
- Have a minimum of 10 logged dives.

| If you are interested in technical diving, but don't have the certification or experience for the Tec Deep Diver course, the DSAT Tec 1 Diver course is a sub course within the Tec Deep Diver course just for you. |

This course teaches you to make gas switch, extended no-decompression dives using air and enriched air to 40 meters/130 feet.
Additionally, it trains you to prepare for and respond to foreseeable emergencies that may occur in technical diving. |

| Since it's part of the Tec Deep Diver course, your training credits toward the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course. You may begin using some your own equipment in this course. The component that many divers acquire first is a technical BCD or back plate/bladder. Another item that many technical divers want to own is a pair of regulators configured for technical diving. |

| Tec 1 Diver Prerequisites: |
- Be certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- Be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver or equivalent.
- Be certified as a PADI Deep Diver or equivalent.
- Be 18 years of age.
- Have a minimum of 50 logged dives of which at least 10 must be enriched air dives, 12 dives must be deeper than 18 meters/60 feet and at least six dives must be deeper than 30 meters/100 feet.

| The DSAT Tec Deep Diver course will train you to conduct gas-switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives and accelerated decompression dives using air and enriched air to a depth of 50 meters/165 feet. |

| The DSAT Tec Trimix Diver course is intended for technical divers. The course extends there depth range capabilities by training them in the use of trimix {helium, oxygen and nitrogen} to depths of 75m/245ft .
The provided skills you will learn are applicable to further training and experience in technical diving fields.
DSAT Tec Trimix Diver Prerequisites:
- Be certified as PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent with CPR and first aid training within the last 2 years
- Be 18 years of age and certified as a DSAT Tec Deep Diver or have a qualifying certification in deep decompression diving.
- Have a minimum of 150 logged dives.

| DSAT Gas Blender Nitrox/Trimix |

| The DSAT Gas Blender course develops your ability to competently blend enriched air nitrox and helium-blend gases using one or more blending methods available for the dive industry. It is not intended to replace equipment-specific training required by manufactures of gas blending equipment. |
